I highly recommend this villa when staying in Upper Bavaria because of location, amenities, shower, room, breakfast, safety, cleanliness, and the owner. Wonderful experience in this amazing hotel. To the points that matter the most: room was very comfortable (including very nice bed and excellent shower pressure); breakfast with great variety and good quality; staff very polite and helpful; check in and check out very fast and efficient. Definitely coming back and definitely recommend to others!

The apartment is well maintained and contains all the facilities needed. They also provided ground coffee, tea, salt and pepper, oil, dishwasher tablets and more which is a big advantage compared to other apartments. They have a short term parking next to the apartment which is useful while the main parking lot is located within 5 min. walk.

Our room was absolutely perfect. Everything centered around a huge walk-in shower as it should. The mountain views from our second floor balcony were amazing. And the breakfast was delicious. If you are visiting Salzburg or the surrounding area, I would highly recommend staying here and commuting by train, which is very simple to do and the station nearby.

The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The views are amazing and the hotel is something out of a good movie. The staff were terrific. We went on a guided one hour torch nature walk that the hotel puts on Friday night. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

We as a family of 4 were perfectly satisfied and enjoyed our stay. Perfect location away from the madness of Salzburg proper. Check in was a breeze. Check out was a breeze. Just follow the instructions. The only issue was parking. No real info so I figured it out myself. Around the corner is a garage. €10 per day, but if you to the garage office you can get a discount for multiple days. We would definitely stay here again

We (family of four) stayed in an apartment at Hotel Auwirt. The apartment was modern, clean, provided typical Eurpean breakfast and large. In a word, it was perfect for our Salzburg holiday. You should consider this hotel if you are in the area.

Phenomenal 4 night stay with family of 4. First and foremost the staff (specifically Maria - night reception) went above and beyond helping for providing an excellent service to whatever questions or needs when asked. I can not thank you enough. Hotel EXTREMELY clean throughout common and room areas. Very safe and quiet atmosphere. Breakfast had made to order eggs and multiple options…kids didn’t complain once. Centrally located (if driving) for Berchesgarten Area and Salzburg...

The staff was friendly and the room was spacious. We loved the balcony.

The hotel was very clean throughout the property. The spa had 3 different saunas and plenty of relaxation rooms in the common area. A private sauna inside the room. The manager couple takes pride of their hard work. Breakast buffet provides good selection of local bread and variety of pastries and cold cuts. The dining area has nice atmosphere with good view of the mountain peaks. We would stay again.

This was just an all around excellent stop outside of Salzburg. The village was one of the nicest I've seen in Europe. Don't miss the cemetery, it's beautiful.

I really enjoyed my staff at the Alpenhoff. Food was great, staff very friendly. The location is perfect - set in the mountains but just a short walk or drive to town.
