"Clean"

"This hotel is very old and run down. There was Rusty water coming out of shower and sink. There were Holes in sheet rock around our room door, on seams and water damage on the ceiling. It is supposed to be a non smoking hotel; however, the smell of pot wreaked the whole third floor. The all carb breakfast was cold- Even the toasters did not work. When I asked the night clerk about the safety notices in the parking lot, he stated you know this part of Albuquerque wasn’t safe. My husband checked the car several times that night. It is an unsafe environment both the hotel, its accommodations, and area of town. We gave it 1 star. "

"Family and I stayed. Wish there was cots to be give when there wasn’t enough beds"

"We are a family of 5 that does road trips and we stay at Hyatt Places because they are usually good bang for your buck. I would say the Hyatt Place in Uptown is on the lower end of our experiences. The elevators were broken, the a/c in our room didn’t work. The pool was closed even though it was 85 degrees out…friendly staff but that’s about all."

"My husband and I really liked the room we had. It was clean and very homey. However, the room got a little too warm at night. I had to kick covers off or get up and move around to cool off before getting back in bed. I understand the unit can't be turned down below 70 degrees or the cooling system will freeze, but installing some ceiling fans or floor fans would be very helpful. Other than that, Sonesta was a great place to stay."

"Speakeasy, hydration station, outdoor activities, the themed decor, and robes that were provided made our stay so much fun. the extra accommodations for our 5 year anniversary was very much appreciated. overall we adored the thought put into the establishment and foundation of the hotel. Will be returning."
