"Even though it's a low budget motel the staff is great and I've always had clean rooms and linens. I'm in Austin twice a year, if not more, and I always stay here"

"From the time I walked in, the staff went out of their way to meet my needs and make me feel welcome. The hotel and my room were clean and attractive. The morning buffet was excellent, complete with a grill with my food cooked to order. 5 stars!"
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin Downtown - University by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"This was place was just far enough from the noise but close enough to be able to walk to the party. It’s also located right next to Stubbs BBQ which was absolutely delicious. They also had a really good Mediterranean place right down the street."
"The property was nice and as described. There were a few minor maintenance issues like loose or damages boards on thd patio decking or handrails, and the previous tenants damaged a few things before we checked in. But the host was on top of the situation ans called ahead to let us know that a few things we damaged the night before but that they were aware it wasn't our fault. He had a few grocery items, like basic paper goods, delivered to the house within an hour of check-in. I never could figure out the wifi. The kitchen had a good set of pots and pans but lacked a can opener, which was odd but we got by with a pocket knife. We have family in the area and this was sort of an experiment in accommodations for when we come go visit. We will definitely try ro get this property agaon for the next time!"
