"Fantastic location. Gjogv is a charming village with phenomenal views and natural beauty. A truly must see place where you get the feel of Faroese life. Hikes with beautiful views are close. Sheep are everywhere. The hotel is quiet and well kept with great food at dinner. Staff is friendly. It’s a place to come to experience, unwind and disconnect. Highly recommend. "

"The hotel is within easy walking distance of download Torshavn. Parking lot is a little small as far as I can tell. Maybe there is more than the one we used."

"Loved our stay! It was super clean with comfortable beds and a good hot shower. It had AMAZING shampoo, body wash and hand soap! Nespresso pods in the room was a nice touch. Beautiful view of the sea. VERY limited TV. One of the nicest breakfasts we have ever had, with lots of international and Faroese options. Nice walk downhill into town which helped to find nice places to eat and then you burn it all off walking back up. The views alone are worth it."

"This place was so so cute. I could stay here for a very long time. It was off by itself but walking distance to effo. The little house had everything we needed. There were 2 bedrooms upstairs and the living area, including the kitchen and bathroom, were downstairs. The floors were heated and cookware and utensils were all available for use. The views out the windows were beautiful. There was a small deck and balcony. It was clean and really really comfortable. What a perfect way to make use of space in this little house! "

"Overall, this is a nice hotel. The front desk staff are really personable and helpful. Our room was fairly small (as expected for a European hotel room) but it was clean and the beds were comfy. The sink/mirror is in the room and there are separate stalls each for the toilet and the shower. There is a fridge and an electric tea kettle in the room. The location is a bit odd… the only entrance/lobby is down a driveway from the road to the back of the building. It is in a more industrial area, but it is easy to walk into city center. There are also many walking paths nearby that are fun to explore. "
