"Had a brilliant week in the lakes, the cottage was superb with everything we needed available, the views from the front door are simply beautiful.The views were worth paying for alone, I have had to give the amenities a low score due to the cottage being in a rural area on the fells but that’s only because the nearest shop and pub is 10-15 drive away. My only advice would be to ensure you stock up on all necessary foods from the main supermarket if not wanting to go out again through the week. There are many amazing walks from the door here so you wouldn’t need to drive from the cottage very often."
