"Very good breakfast and a wide selection of food available all day. Spotlessly clean room and pleasant indoor and outdoor seating areas. Mattress was too soft but that's more of a personal preference."

"The property was very spacious with plenty of room for a multi-generational group, each wanting to do their own thing. The bedrooms were comfortable and the views from all the windows were lovely. The kitchen was well fitted out. The garden looked nice but it was too chilly to sit out when we were there.There were lovely walks from the house, and Eskdale, Wasdale and the coast were within easy reach by car. The pub at Santon Bridge was a few yards down the road. We would happily go there again."
