We have been staying with this hotel for 9 years...we will always be patrons. The food is fantastic...parking is great....it's quiet and peaceful. The place is a blast from English heritage..we love ❤️ it.

This hostel was excellent for a nights sleep. Its a short walk to & from the train station, and is within walking distance to food and even a nice local town pub that serves food as well right across the street. The bus station is also within walking distance and surrounded by food and shopping. This is a hostel, not a hotel, you shouldnt expect much besides a roof over your head and a bed to sleep in for rest. Great hotel! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I have a gluten allergy and I had plenty of options for breakfast. It’s also very close to plenty of restaurants, shops, and sites. Would stay again!

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. Conveniently located near everything that we wanted to do on this trip, the Montague provided all the comfort and cleanliness that we desired. Lovely hotel right near the Christmas market and all the fun things to do. Cute rooms with kettle, and tea options, robes, slippers etc. huge bathroom. All very clean and comfortable. Staff were always friendly.

This is a quaint hotel. The bathrooms are brand new, but the rest of the hotel has an English feel that welcomes you. The elevators are very small, but we never had any problems using them. There is a wonderful bar and an excellent restaurant. The staff could not be nicer. We had a dedicated doorman who helped me in and out of taxis. We loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend it.

Convenient option in Mayfair. Very quiet yet close to shopping and dinning areas

My room was small, but very clean and comfortable. Short walk to underground station made this a great base for exploring the city. The area is quiet, but always has enough activity to feel safe. As a single traveler, I was perfectly comfortable walking after dark. Friendly staff made it a great place.
