Hotel located within 5mI n walk to multiple bus lines and Russell Square underground station. Staff are highly customer oriented, courteous, very helpful with good area knowledge. In short, from front desk to cleaning staff all are excellent. While rooms are kept to a high degree of cleanliness, some updating could be helpful.

I loved the old world elegance, the location and the size of the rooms. There was a faded, old world charm that was uplifting and refreshing after years of corporate insincerity in the likes of Travelodge and Premier Inn.. The view of the inner garden from the 3rd floor was beautiful - summer evening theatre with the animals and birdlife. The staff were charming and reserved :)

We will never stay at this place again. The pictures did not match the room and amenities. The staff were not helpful, in fact, they sometimes wouldn’t do the tasks we asked. We found bugs in our room and have photos to prove it. The bathroom was filthy. We stayed during a heatwave and the air conditioning barely worked. The tv would turn off on its own. This was from our second room we asked for. The first room was worse. We asked to switch rooms because I was having an allergic reaction to the spray they used in the room. We were catfished and very disappointed with our experience.

The location was great. Close to good restaurants, a 5 minute walk to a bus stop but the tube was iffy depending on where you were heading to. So so renovated London hotel. You get what you pay for and this was an average at best hotel for London's standards. AC didn't work very well. Rooms need to be updated. We had a big room with three beds so that was great for my family of 4. Nothing special besides the cheaper price.

This is a very well located property. The staff is friendly enough. The room are clean enough. You are a few steps away from the British Museum and Covent Garden. I would choose it for It’s convenience, not for the beauty, or the Design or the friendliness of the staff.

The AC in my room never seemed to go down, the hotel also was just not clean. Seemed much more US Motel level of clean VS a hotel. However, the location was nice and the staff was very good/friendy/helpful. So for the price, the hotel makes sense. But the staff was much better than anything else.
