"We have been spending a lot of time in hotels while we go bike riding on the trails that are farther away. By far this hotel was the cleanest I have been to in a long while. We had a problem with our tv and they tried so hard to fix it, when they realized it wasn’t going to be resolved with an easy fix they moved us to another room. It was a wonderful get away and the hotel was so comfortable and clean."

"We came up for the weekend for our fanily reunion . The house is old & smells like an old house, which isn't a bad thing. The house was clean & tidy. We couldn't find the hot tub,but it was all good. We didn't spend much time at the house, except for sleeping & watching tv in the evening. Thank you for a pleasant stay."

"We used this house as a base for biking the Root River Trail. The pictures don't do justice to the inside of this house, it is really upscale. Everything was cleaned, well stocked and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be recommending this property to our friends. "This location was incredibly aesthetic and peaceful. I was impressed to see baskets of snacks, water, and a few items (like bug spray) that we may have needed in case we forgot our own. The lodge itself is very spacious, clean, and was perfect for our occasion. The firepit had plenty of chairs, wood, etc. I am very pleased to have stayed at MCR and would definitely visit again. I highly recommend anyone with a larger group (8+) to consider staying here."
