"This is the 2nd time we have visited the barn and certainly will not be the last. The hosts are friendly and always happy to give advice to local areas, so much to do within the area, you have the national park within 30mins drive but you also have the west coast which holds great views over to Scotland.The 2 pubs are just a stones throw up the road and the food in both is excellent."

"The apartment was ideally located on the harbour, with in easy walk of all the local amenities. The apartment itself was well finished, with a bit of a quirky take on the coastal theme. Fully equipped with some little extras too. For us, the only downside was the low, soft, beds, but we have that issue wherever we stay, and having the freedom and space of an apartment over a hotel room is worth it. "Pretty little cottage with adequate parking. On a reliable, regular bus route into Keswick or other parts of the Lakes. Easy walk into Keswick on the cycle route about 100 metres from the cottage, away from busy road. Very relaxing few days."

"Superb holiday home with virtually everything you need. The layout is great and our toddler enjoyed playing in the large lounge and dining area where we could keep an eye on her through the glass windows in the downstairs doors. We appreciated the books for babies and young children and lake district guides for adults. The welcome goodies were a nice touch.
