"This cottage is very spacious with 4 double bedrooms, with a huge kitchen and other large rooms downstairs plus a large patio. The kitchen is very well stocked with crockery, cutlery, and all sorts of cooking equipment - easily the best cottage we've come across for these things. The location is great for access to the hills and although you can walk to Keswick or an eatery, you'll probably need to drive for the most part. "We had a wonderful time at Harriet's Hideaway. The house is lovely and was spotlessly clean. The beds were super comfortable and the area so quiet. We did 3 walks from the house, up Grisedale Peak, Whinlatter and Barf and they were stunning. The house is close enough to Keswick to do a shop but it feels so remote and wonderful once you're there.
