"Do not stay in room 212, because it over the outside patio area. They had karaoke that night and I nor my wife got any good sleep with the loud music playing. It was one of the worst night at a Holiday Inn I ever experienced. Hope this helps someone else out."

"I always like staying in this hotel every time we are in Savannah because for a budget/value hotel, it's extremely well run. I have actually gotten to know the cleaning staff over the time we have spent here and they are exceedingly gracious. asking if anything is needed in the room, offering towels, etc. in between cleanings they also actually mop the floors between stays and keep surfaces very clean with unusual attention to detail. this is appreciated! Also, it is surprisingly convenient to the Savannah historic district, about 17 minutes. A great way to spend time and see the beautiful city of Savannah without the price of the hotels downtown (that, by the way, charge a big fee for parking as well). But what makes this hotel special is all of the people that work there. I forgot a very special favorite blazer on one trip and they made great efforts to find it and secure it for me until it could be retrieved. I certainly recommend this hotel."
