"The Maclean Hotel is full of old world charm and was a great location to stay in the middle of town and on the river front. Our room, a Standard Queen was clean, comfortable and very affordable over a long weekend. The shared bathrooms are thoroughly modern and very clean. A guest laundry, kitchen with a fridge and a small dining/ lounge is provided on the accommodation level which is upstairs over the hotel below. (NB there is no lift - not a problem for me but could be an issue for others). We dined in the hotel and the meals were affordable and delicious. Staff were courteous and very helpful. I have only have 2 suggestions- a bedside lamp and the addition of drapes to the window to reduce the early morning sun. I would strongly recommend a visit to the Maclean Hotel. "

"Very friendly welcome. Excellent accommodation. One bedroom unit with everything that could make a traveller comfortable. Even had two tvs! Very spacious and extremely clean. Spacious parking outside our unit also. Great location! We would definitely stay here again!"
