"The property, the views and the host were simply superb. It's the perfect location for just sitting and staring out over the valley below to the Pic du Midi de Bigorre in the distance OR as a base camp for great bike rides, hikes and marché hopping. The only warning, applicable mainly to US visitors, is that you are expected to bring your own bed sheets and towels. Highly recommend; we hope to return soon!"

"A unique and grand old villa with numerous unique features including a wonderful pool house where we did most of our socialising. Fitted to a high spec with lovely linen and comfortable beds. It is the first time that we felt a property was over equipped with the kitchen containing too many items arranged haphazardly making specific utensils sometimes difficult to find. "Excelent stay!! Convenient location quite close to one of the entrances to the Basilique de Notre Dame de Lourdes and the Grotto. Clean, nice breakfast, good facilities. Has all the amenities anyone would look for!"

"Great location. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly. Don’t pay for parking as there is free parking at the bottom of the road in the big car park. The outdoor pool was so unclean. It was apparently closed which was a surprise in Sunmer and during a heatwave but we were not informed of this. There were some residents jumping into it and I’d imagine they would have been poorly next day! Although the rooms were clean, the balconies were really dirty. We can to clean the surfaces to be able to lean on them. There were no chairs to sit out which was a shame. There was space in front of the balcony which had all broken glass and an old poor towel that had been left. Not nice to look onto. Our superior double had a coffee machine but in the 3 days we were there we only got two pods and they didn’t get restock each day. Same for the bottle of water. When we asked at reception we reluctantly got a further two. Overall a good hotel with a great location. Attention to detail could be better."
