We spent so much quality time together, which is really important to us, and when we needed our own space, the rooms were laid out perfectly for that too. Everything was clean and well cared for, and one of our favorite things was that the property doesn’t allow animals—no fur, no smells, just a really fresh, comfortable space.We truly, truly loved it. The views were amazing. The hot tub was perfect. The gathering spaces were beautiful and inviting. The kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed to make it feel cozy and easy, like a real getaway. The fireplaces were such a great touch too. Honestly, I could go on and on about this place.We are a bit of a crunchy family, so we unplugged the air-freshener plug-ins while we were there (and plugged them back in before we left), but that’s just a personal thing. The sound of the river was incredible—so peaceful and calming. The deck was another favorite spot for us.I think this place is especially amazing in the winter. Sitting in the hot tub with those views was unbeatable. I’m sure it’s great in the summer too, though I’d imagine there might be some mosquitoes with the river and all the trees—but even then, it would still be worth it.If you’re thinking about a winter getaway, book this place immediately.
