Paul & Jean and their staff very friendly and most accommodating

Great stay, very relaxing and welcoming, and delicious food - thank you James and Catherine!

Very relaxing, fantastic room, delicious breakfast!

A very nice small hotel full of character and in a beautiful setting and convenient to lyme regis. See and countryside views from the room. Lovely gardens. Friendly owners and staff went out of their way to make sure we had eventing we needed... the owners checked in with us at breakfast each morning. The 3 course table service breakfast was selectable from a menu. Classy but not pretentious.

Ample parking. Friendly helpful staff. Huge English breakfast included. Bar and restaurant on site...lively place on a Friday night in a good way. Room was very good, but no in-room fridge.

Be aware bus service to Colyton can be non existant

The Hornsbury Mill is a very charming hotel, set in beautiful grounds with a little lake. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the bed comfortable. I had the full English (vegan) breakfast and it was very tasty. The one complaint I had was that when the very charming old mill wheel is on and turning (which they switch off at 8pm), the noise made a constant thud in my room and bothered me a little. I assume it won’t be too much of a bother though to most people, who would be in bed well...

Amazing staff, and the best cooked to order breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Lots of attention to detail here which is becoming increasingly hard to find. We absolutely loved this place.

Beautiful seaside inn, lovely room with wonderful view. Comfortable bed, large bathroom, nice amenities. Excellent breakfast!!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Nethleigh. I stayed in the room called The Snug, and it admirably lived up to the name. It was comfortable and very cozy. There was a small fireplace in the room with wood provided for a crackling fire, though I didn't make one. The owner had provided fresh milk in the fridge for my hot drinks, as well as a variety of teas and coffees. The mugs and plates were very nice, and there were lovely wine glasses available had I wanted to use them. A small table and...

The owners were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The garden was beautiful, and the house full of history.

Great location in the heart of the town. Parking in the Royal Lions own car park can be a little tight but a space was always available. Our room was spotless and well stocked with tea and coffee supplies. Breakfast was good, plant based options on offer. Staff were helpful and friendly. At times it seemed like the hotel were short of personnel. Overall a great stay would definitely return.

Great staff and comfortable. Loved it.

Lovely stop on the way to Cornwall. Gorgeously comfortable bed and linen. We arrived exhausted from a long transatlantic flight with 2 cats and the owner was so kind to us. She saved our bacon as we honestly could not have driven further! Superb breakfast and we will definitely return 💜
