"When we first drove up to the hotel, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. But once we were greeted at the check-in counter, we were happy to be there. They were very friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and spacious (the bathroom could have been a bit larger) and the bed was comfortable. The location was great, close to everything you would want to see while in Brisbane. I would highly recommend staying here. "

Unfortunately ruined the quality of sleep which was disappointing as we were really excited for a hotel that had an actual dooner on the bed that was cozy. "The air conditioner didn't work for about 5 hours. The shower drain was blocked and there wasn't enough drainage, making the whole shower a slip and trip risk. The toilet didn't flush properly. The shampoo / conditioner, bodywash / handwash had a strange, mouldy smell. One room service Chocolate Milkshake cost $26. They charge like they are 5 stars, but the Junior Suite (which was supposed to be one of the nicer rooms) was not pleasant. Parking was a problem. The secure parking left many people "parked in", as guests parked in non-parking areas. The pool is accessible via a driveway, so you have to walk through a car park to get to it - not ideal for couples, singles or families. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and the Roof Top Bar had lovely views (if a limited menu). My advice is to visit the Roof Top Bar for drinks or a meal, but skip staying here."

"The hotel has excellent hardware, but the service experience didn’t quite match the five-star positioning. The building itself, room design, and location are all impressive. The décor feels premium and well thought through, and overall the physical environment is a strong highlight. However, the service fell short of what I would expect from a five-star property. At check-in, there was no staff member to escort me to the room or provide a brief introduction to the hotel facilities and room features — something that is typically standard at this level. There were also no complimentary bottled waters placed in the room upon arrival. Guests need to either request them or collect them from the corridor, which feels more aligned with a budget hotel experience. When I requested additional room amenities, the response time was extremely slow. Housekeeping also felt rushed. The table was not cleaned properly, and coffee and tea supplies were never refilled throughout my three-night stay. Overall, while the physical aspects of the hotel are excellent, the service delivery needs improvement to truly meet five-star expectations."
