"We had a great stay - very clean and tidy rooms and the bed very comfy. Maxine and Robert were excellent hosts and the breakfast in the morning very good! Definitely going back!"
"The lodge was clean, well presented and in a convenient location to the main places of interest. The property was very small (smaller than we realised) and located on a very busy main road with a view of business warehouses opposite. There were alot of traffic queues and it was tricky trying to get in and out of the property in the car. However, once inside the property you could not hear much traffic noise which was good.
The property accepted pets, but there was nowhere to exercise them...

Hayle is a nice little village. There are a few big supermarks and some lovely small shops. There is also a fabulous pastie shop. The only tricky place was the two roundabouts leading up to the holiday park. Take care on these .

Hayle beach is lovely, and with many options for food, whether self catering or eating out.
"Superb grounds, and views over to St Ives and the sea.worthy of stately home gardens. Fabulous building, great food and comfortable room if tired, single glazed, blinds broken and hot water system not up to standard. If sorted it could be 5*.

"We loved the atmosphere of the Alverton and its grounds. There was plenty of space for parking and the reception was only a short walk.
The rooms we had were very well presented and very clean. I have marked down on the eco credentials as all the lights and television were on when we arrived which wasn't necessary.
The terrace was a great place to sit in the late afternoon for a pre-dinner drink. At times the bar staff were talking to each other rather than looking after customers needs but they were always polite.
We ate dinner the first night of our stay which was delicious and at a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good too. I would recommend this hotel to my friends."
