"I had a great stay at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything about the stay exceeded expectations.
My only (very minor) complaint is that the coffee shop hours were limited, which made it a bit tough to grab a cup when I needed it. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the area."
"We really enjoyed our stay. The standard king room was great, awesome TV and bathroom. We wished we were there longer!
The pool looked great although we didnt have time to try it.
The buffet was amazing for dinner so many options made fresh to order, i would have eat there all week!
However the cafe that was open late needed some staffing help. People complaining that they couldnt take their breaks, cooks about to fall asleep and a manager chilling on his laptop while theres a big line of people.
Our burgers had been sitting in a warmer and the fries were also cold.
When approaching there were people right outside the entrance smoking weed which was an unfortunate experience for my wife and I. Then once inside the lobby we were greeted with a dusty mercedes and the air quality of 1970's vegas. THICK with smoke. not sure where it was coming from but it absolutely ruined our outfits.
We smuggled new clothes back out to our SUV and changed in the parking lot for the evening to avoid having that awful smell on our clothes for the nights activities.
Lastly, we were told by our check in assistant to call down in the morning and tell the front desk that we wanted a late check out, so we could have brunch and see the pool. when we did that we were told that we could not do late check out. so that was disappointing.
The elevator hall call is confusing and kinda clunky. not my favorite. its nice to keep casino guests from wandering onto hotel guest floors but that didnt work. "
"Fantastic place to stay, barista-style coffee available at the lobby was a big hit. The layout of the room lends itself to being able to put away suitcases in between furniture, so if you're travelling with 2 large suticases, you're not tripping over them. Staff was friendly and curteous. Unlike some places, they post the times when breakfast is available, and my, oh my, breakfast items were great, aside from the usual cereal and waffle maker, there was a different egg, protein and potato/starch option cooked on premises.
