"The view was amazing! The bed & pillows were very comfortable. We slept very well. The homemade bread was an unexpected pleasure. We also love the location because it is not too far from Brevard or Asheville but also close to waterfalls. So peaceful & quiet. Our host was exceptional. Although we only got to say hello when we arrived, we would have liked to talk with them more. They are very nice. Can’t wait to come back when it is warmer & we can have coffee on the patio looking at the spectacular views of the mountains. "

"The place was very comfortable, bed was amazing views were spectacular!! One thing that would be helpful is a working lighter for fireplace . Would definitely stay there again close to nearby Brevard. "

"Firstly, the host is excellent. She communicates immediately and is very friendly. You do have to check in at the main gate to get a scan pass for the duration of your stay so do not firstly go to the secondary gate. However, security is tight so good news. The house is beautiful. The furnishings are tasteful and its just a great setting. Beautiful rooms, decks with great chairs and the downstairs has a ping pong table. The host left us red and white wine and yummy snacks. Kitchen is well equipped and stocked. There is a Keurig and a selection of pods and a coffee maker with coffee to use. Sample sizes of toiletries are in the bathrooms. Plenty of hot water for our tired hikers to enjoy showers. Water pressure is good but not gushing. I don't have any negatives to say about the property except that the 2 futons in the office are probably better for kids as our burly guys felt a bar in the middle. One of them just moved the mattress from the day bed in the master (this consists of a thick mattress and a box spring)and one rigged up one of the sofas with the plentiful spare bedding and both slept well. This really is a gorgeous place. Check out is easy too. We all said we would highly recommend it. "

"What a wonderful place. We really enjoyed our stay. Our dog loved the backyard. She actually stayed outside with us longer than she normally does at our own house. We enjoyed the fire pit and making s'mores also playing games at the kitchen table and on the back porch. The hot tub was nice for my husband and I to enjoy. My son's favorite part of all was definitely canoeing. My husband and I actually saw a white squirrel while out canoeing which really excited us. It was awesome to have that available to enjoy and with life jackets as well. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make nightly meals. You can tell the house is a older one could use a little TLC to make even more awesome. The couch in the living room was a tad uncomfortable when having a lazy day watching TV. Overall it was a quiet, beautiful and very enjoyable time we had at the cabin and the surrounding area. Very convenient to Brevard which we took a day to explore and took in nearby waterfalls another day. Communication was quick and easy which is always appreciated."
