"Lovely lodge, spacious and clean. Excellent kitchen area with everything you need. Very comfortable bedrooms with nice bath and shower. Beautiful area and surroundings too. Highly recommended."

"A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk."

"We all had a great time in poppy lodge very clean and in a nice location. The owner was really easy to get hold off always got back to me asap we will be booking again and recommend to book to stay here"

"We had a wonderful stay at the lodge and also using the spa, which includes the gym and the swimming pool which was great to use and both kids had fun! The lodge was large enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 teenage children with no problems and had all amenities to hand. Dealing with the owner of the lodge was also a trouble free and replies were always immediate. Would definitely go back again, given the chance!"

"This property has one of the best locations on Kenwick Park - having open spaces opposite where our children enjoyed playing safely within sight of the decking around the cabin. The cabin was very clean and the wine on arrival was a kind thought - thanks."
