"Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are very friendly, the room is tidy and the breakfast was well worth the money. The only downsides would be that the air conditioning wasn’t very efficient; even on the coldest setting we were overheating at night. The other downside is that the toilet rolls were a little thin and found there was not enough supplied for 3 days."

"This was an absolutely unacceptable experience, and the hotel’s behavior was by far the worst part of it. I had to cancel my trip because of the war in the Middle East—something serious, dangerous, and completely outside of my control. Any reasonable business would show basic understanding in that situation. This hotel did the exact opposite. They flat-out refused to refund anything or offer even the smallest accommodation. No credit, no rescheduling, nothing. Just a cold, scripted response hiding behind “policy” with zero regard for safety or common sense. It honestly felt like they cared more about keeping my money than about treating customers fairly during a real-world crisis. While Expedia was also unhelpful and simply echoed the hotel’s stance, the hotel itself was the main problem. Their attitude was rigid, dismissive, and frankly greedy. Hospitality is supposed to involve at least some level of empathy—this place showed none. If this is how they treat customers during serious global events, I can’t imagine how they handle everyday issues. I would strongly warn anyone considering this hotel: book at your own risk, because if anything goes wrong, don’t expect fairness, understanding, or even basic decency—you will likely just lose your money. "

"The Sachet is all about Vienna's tradition, luxury well understood, discretion and a staff at all levels of the experience that delivers a professional, friendly and even perfect service with grace and elegance. Yes, the rooms are well appointed, the bathroom well designed, the lobby has a great atmosphere- almost out of a Visconti film set...the spa could be better, the bar menu not that great but overall a brilliant antidote to luxury chains that try but don't reach a similar level. "Our room was a twin Executive which was warm and inviting. Linen and toiletries were of a high standard. The executive dining floor was excellent. A plentiful buffet at breakfast and a much appreciated ‘happy hour’ in the evenings with nibbles and alcoholic drinks. The staff were helpful and very pleasant. A good location next to the CAT train direct from the airport. All in all a very good choice of hotel for us on our first visit to Vienna. Thank you."
