"Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town. Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg. "

Was uns jedoch auf dem Weg ins Zimmer und im Zimmer selbst erwartete, kann man nur als Renovierungs-Fail bezeichnen: Flur: Unsachgemäß verlegte Fliesen und hochstehende Teppichkanten stellen eine deutliche Stolpergefahr dar. "Das Haus liegt günstig für Wanderungen in der Eifel und rund um den Rursee. Das Haus selbst ist funktional ausgestattet, mehr aber auch nicht. Die Küche verfügt nur über das Nötigste - auch was die Geschirrmenge angeht, sodass man die Spülmaschine nach jeder Mahlzeit laufen lassen muss. Der "Ofen" ist eine Umluftmikrowelle mit Oberhitze. Nützliche Kleinigkeiten, wie z. B. ein Schneidebrett oder eine größere Rührschüssel fehlen. Das Haus ist im Leichtbau erreichtet und sehr (!) hellhörig. Warum...
