Jimmers is a well used accomodation, has everything you need and situated in an amazing location, with the basement/garage games or store room this made the property an absolute gem. It is tired in places but the location outweighed any issues and it served us perfectly. The host assisted us very quickly and we had no issues.
The property is in a fantastic location with beautiful views of the sea. The road down to the cove is very narrow and steep, but well worth it!
The cottage is very comfortable, but looking a little tired in places. The tap in the main bedroom runs at a trickle and could do with looking at. It would have been helpful to have a few basics available, tea (only 4 bags left) and coffee, toilet rolls. However we really enjoyed our stay, exploring this area of Cornwall.
Lovley house in perfect position, everything it says was true , lovley village , great pub on the doorstep, owners really helpful, would definitely book to come here again .
My family and I love travelling and use Vrbos all over Europe and this place is one of my favourites ever. What a gem of a place Cadgwith is and the property is in the middle of it all, it couldn't be in a better location. Shop, pub, cafe, beach, fishing boats, coastal walks, just step outside the front door. Plus you have a sea view for breakfast ever morning. The property has everything you need and is comfortable and clean and kids loved the table football. Usually travel around in the car a lot on holiday but didn't need or want to much, there's much to see and do around the Lizard and Cadgwith area. We have to come back.
Tucked away down a cobbled drive lies Jimmers Loft. It is in the beautiful and charming fishing village of Cadgwith in Cornwall.
One day, it called to us: ‘Come and spend a weekend here’ so after an easy peasy booking, off we went and had the most enjoyable time!
The pub is just a wobble away and has shanty singers on a Friday evening which just added to the atmosphere and a bit further afield is Lizard Point, Kynance, Coverack and more. All stunning places.
The flat is spacious and has loads of room for us 4 adults, a teen and 2 dogs.
Becci was so helpful and accommodating for tweaking our stay to ensure it was just spot on.
Highly recommended! :)
We lust had a lovely short break at cadgwith cove the apartment was spotlessy clean, warm and very comfortable even with the big storm raging outside and situated just yards from the beach. A little disappointed we couldn’t use the parking because of a large boat parked right in the entrance ally obviously all the boats were brought up to keep safe from the storm it was a fair and muddy walk up to the village car park,
We had a few days travelling around the local area with fantastic scenery ports and coves enhanced with all the storm waves ,
A lovely quiet and peaceful place to stay giving easy access to all the beautiful place’s to see on the lizard peninsula will definitely try and return for another break
Well laid out house in a terrific location.
Unfortunately on arrival, the heating had not been put on and it took hours to bring up to an acceptable temperature so we sat with our coats on most of the first evening! It was January and just 6 degrees outside. Once warmed, it was much better although one of the large night storage heaters wouldn’t work for us.
Otherwise, spotlessly clean with a spacious open plan kitchen/living area. Extremely useful parking space.
We would have given it 5 stars if the heating had been better
This property is fantastic and well worth a visit. Although its a little tired in places it is spotless and ideal for being right where you need to be with 2 dogs and walks to die for, The hosts are obliging to the nth degree and the charm of Cadgwith is captured in this accommodating. The view to the sea is envied by all my friends and I recommend it to anyone, adults, kids and dogs alike!
