This was such a unique place to stay and was spotlessly clean. The carriage and train-themed bits and bobs were truely special. So much thought and care had gone into making us feel welcome. We had a lovely stay. The local area is extremely picturesque too. We felt really comfortable.

A pleasant, secluded spot to stay with dog in tow and very close to the coast path.
Loved our stay in Harriet, it was a perfect little space tucked away in an idealic location. Lovely cream tea waited for us, and the host was very welcoming and lovely. Would definitely recommend
Lovely and quiet, out of the way. Great hosts, lovely pub just down the road Cadgwith Cove Inn, with some of the best food I have had in a long time.I would definitely recommend staying here.
Loved it , quirky and unusual with fab history. Decor was great. Host was excellent and we had lovely cream tea waiting for us on arrival and popped over to say hello and provide some local knowledge. We loved how quiet the location is . Perfect for a weekend recharge and to explore the Luzard peninsula.
Situated in close to and up the hill from the charming harbour village of Cadgwith, this accommodation is tucked away in a beautiful corner of The Lizard.
Paula, our host, was lovely and the facilities are first-rate. Recommended to visit - don't forget to say hello to the goats!
My friend and I stayed 2 nights with our dogs, really wish we could have stayed longer. The carriage and grounds were amazing, the location was perfect for walking and exploring the area. Couldn’t fault anything, lovely place and owners. Thanks so much!!!!
Outstanding and quirky. Host Paula was very approachable and helpful. Henrietta was cosy and comfortable with everything we needed. Would love to stay again.
Stunning location… property itself lovely n quirky.
Absolutely beautiful & so so relaxing… just what was needed.
Will definitely be returning.
Our host was lovely & had thought of everything you could wish for.
We love staying here! Henrietta is lovely, cosy and well equipped for her size.
A welcoming cream tea is provided as a welcome from the host Paula.
Dogs are welcome too.
Easy access to the coast path - just under 5 miles to Lizard point.
Will definitely be visiting again.
We probably had the worst weather from Storm Bert. Nevertheless, we were tucked away in "Henrietta" our beautifull, comfortable and cosy carriage. Not once were we bothered by the storm.
What a beautiful place in such a stunning location. The best place to escape the hustle and bustle of real life. Loved the little touches left for us. Thankyou for the amazing memories.
We cant wait to return in the new year!
Henrietta is lovely and comfortable with everything you would need for a relaxing break.
The lounge has large windows looking into the woods with a small stream trickling by and a hedge screened private garden.
Its quirky without compromising on comfort.
The site is very good and walking distance to the cove, which has a great pub with daily fish specials from the local boats. Very tasty.
We would stay here again.
We last stayed here 8 years ago - in the Old Coach. We finally returned and weren’t disappointed, Henrietta was just as lovely and we had a wonderful stay with everything we needed.
Even rainy weather on Sunday morning didn’t spoil our enjoyment as we sat and relaxed listening to the little stream running at the edge of the woods just outside the carriage.
The local area is beautiful, both the cove and further afield - we enjoyed walking the coast path, and, of course, we couldn’t miss seeing Kynance Cove again.
Overall a perfect stay, thank you :)
Our railway carriage was set in a secluded part of a two acre setting, bordered by a wood and well tended gardens. The carriage itself provided the double bedroom and compact but well appointed kitchen, with an extension providing a spacious lounge, storage and bathroom. It was perfect for the two of us with a short walk to a lovely pub/restaurant and as a base to explore the beautiful surroundings. The owners were helpful and friendly.
What can I say, over a stream, into the woods and straight out West to the Devils Frying Pan onto the Lizard and Kynance Cove or East through Cadgwith towards Poltesco and Kennack Sands. Henrietta is perfectly located. I had a really enjoyable, peaceful, few days with plenty of wakling as planned. Thank you Paula and Paul.
We had a lovely stay in Henrietta, the beautifully restored railway carriage near Cadgwith Cove. The scones were a lovely welcome after our arrival was made easier with clear directions to the location from Paula. Henrietta is beautifully furnished and well thought out. There’s a proper bath and plenty of hot water. You look straight out onto a wood with a small brook right next to the carriage and there’s a private garden. Peaceful and tranquil. We had a clear night one night and so seeing the night sky filled with stars without much light pollution was a rare treat. It was special to see the chickens, geese and goats too. It’s a steep walk to Cadgwith Cove and back but well worth it. The car also made it down the twisty lanes to the Cadgwith Cove Inn for a very nice vegetarian meal in the evening. All in all, highly recommended.
This carriage is absolutely beautiful! Has everything you need, in a stunning location. The host was so lovely and welcoming. The decor is so beautiful and we had an absolutely amazing stay, exploring part of Cornwall.
