"The hotel was clean and parking was easy to find. We didn’t eat breakfast, but it did smell good. Pros: the staff was incredible. I thought I had booked a king room with a sofa bed. When we got there, there was only the king bed. That wasn’t ideal for us and our 13 year old son. The girl at the front desk brought us a roll away bed within 10 minutes. The indoor pool was nice. My son liked it because it didn’t have too much chlorine in it. Cons: the AC wasn’t great. It was set on 66 and never got very cool. The bed was comfortable but squeaky. The bedding was nice and soft but the pillows were awful- way too soft and flat. My final complaint was the toilet. It was very low to the ground. If you have no mobility issues, this will not be a big deal. If you have any knee issues especially, it’s problematic. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again, but I’d bring my own pillow next time."

"Extremely private, beautiful, and comfortable location. About 15 minutes of winding mountain roads from the main drag. Come prepared with supplies as it’s a hike into town Loved being able to share this with our dog also, it is very pet friendly. Plenty of space for our Golden Retriever to run and play off leash. We rented a boat and jet skis from H2O water sports. Easy docking even in Mid April with low water. Boat house is fun to hang out in. Fishing is not great from the dock but the boating and exploring different coves is exceptional. Hot water is hot. Bed is comfortable. Make sure the dryer works before washing clothes. Host is accommodating and communication was right where it needed to be. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a spacious, private, and upscale mountain property. We wish our stay was longer. "

"Bed was good. Parking good. I was told there was a coffee pit in the room, there was not. No soap, except a shampoo/conditioner packet. I used to wash my hands. I got in late so it wasn’t worth the trouble to get what I wanted. I just left"

"Like almost all HIE hotels, everything was clean. It is an older property, but renovated; not quite as nice as other HIEs we’ve stayed at. The breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, I was billed at a higher rate than arranged through Expedia. When checking out, the desk clerk said she would credit the difference to my card. That didn’t happen."
