"Cannot say enough positive things about our stay - we are so glad we found this listing.We came up for some hiking, fishing and just to take a much needed break with our kids. From our first inquiry, we were well looked after and had so much local help and knowledge planning our visit from the hosts. You can really tell Charlie and kayla care about guests having a great experience. We fished from the private dock and canoes - the local shop in Meredith, Fish Tails, had everything we needed to get going including permits which was a simple process.The setting was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to truly disconnect and enjoy nature. It was also a fantastic place for families—the home is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for all ages (especially the kitchen for cooking meals for large groups). The kids loved the hidden bookcase and generally having the basement living room space to themselves while the adults were mostly in the second living room upstairs.If you’re looking for a serene getaway with gorgeous scenery, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!"

"I was in Meredith for a work event Friday evening and booked a one night stay so I didn't have to travel home after the event and spend the day in Meredith before heading home Monday evening. The hotel was convenient, clean, and comfortable. The event was at one of the other Mills Falls Resorts and they did a great job. The area was beautiful and the Palmer Inn is located right in the middle of shops and restaurants and across from the lake making everything accessible. "

"It was a great quiet place. The backyard is very excellent for my toddler. We made BBQ while playing music and nobody complained. We found almost everything we needed including baby high chair. I just wish the beds were a little bigger. The house is right in the town there are so many stores nearby. For instance, Hannaford is 3 minutes drive. The restaurant is just walkable with a nice view. The location of this house our expectations! "

"The location was in a quiet cove with a phenomenal view. The lake is gorgeous and perfect to explore with the supplied canoe and kayaks. The fire pit was perfect for our evenings with an incredible view of the evening sky. The cabin has a terrific layout and view of the water. We plan on returning!"
