"It was a lovely and clean home with plenty to keep us busy inside and out. The kids loved the foosball table and arcade game, and the parents loved the hot tub. My two area of dissatisfaction were being told in the day of the rental in our check in information that only 3 cars were included for free and others would be up charge. Of course we made plans far in advance to have 4 people drive from different locations and did not have time to adjust. Additionally, the upstairs thermostat was locked and I reached out to request the code but never received. Fortunately the fan helped, but as a perimenopausal woman I need a cool room to sleep in at night and was unhappy I couldn’t control the temperature in my bedroom. Other than that we loved it and would return and recommend. "

"We loved everything about the property. Definitely would stay again and recommend. Would suggest updating check-in instructions on the VRBO site pertaining to lock on back door. Assuming a new lock has a been installed since directions did not match appearance of lock ( no “screen”, no “checkmark). "

Her communication was prompt and helpful throughout our stay, and we were delighted to find homemade baked goods waiting for us upon arrival - such a thoughtful welcome touch that really set the tone for our visit.The only minor drawback is the cottage's proximity to a busy road that sees frequent motorcycle traffic, which can be noticeable at times. However, this small issue didn't significantly impact our overall enjoyment of the stay.We would absolutely recommend Sharon's cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed home base for exploring Meredith and the Lake Winnipesaukee region. Her attention to detail as a host and the quality of the property make this a standout rental."
