"The breakfast provided such a good range of items; I asked for some to be swapped and it was no problem. Our room was really comfortable, spotlessly clean, fabulous view. The staff without exception were kind, approachable, knowledgeable, helpful. The bar was a pleasant place to sit. It is just such a relaxing, lovely place to stay."

"Really lovely one night stay whilst we had a special meal in Padstow. We had a garden room which meant you had a sea view and small terrace - the downside was that in the morning we were underneath the breakfast room and it was quite noisy from just before 8am which on a Sunday was a bit annoying. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious, the windows and patio door were a bit drafty though as it was a stormy night. It could do with thick curtains to pull across but there were just wooden slats. The general corridors etc and dining areas were all really stylish and newly refurbished. We managed to get a space in the hotel car park but it is a bit limited when the hotel is busy. Overall though I was impressed with the standard of the hotel."
