"We (Myself and my other half) enjoyed a one night stay last weekend.Ended up needing a really late check in, after the pub was closed. The manager was great, met us at the door and showed us straight to our room. The room was large with a four poster bed. The bed was really comfortable. I would stay there again, and would recomend it to friends"

"We were a couple, staying over for 1 night after a day at Hexham races. The check in was great, very easy and straight forward. We were shown to our room by the lady owner (sorry I can't remember your name) who was very friendly and helpful. The room was large, with an area to sit, a huge bed and a big en-suite. We had lunch in the bar downstairs which was a toastie and chunky chips for £8.95, excellent value. The breakfast was good the next day, a cooked breakfast to order and cereal, fruit, muffins etc on the buffet table. Would certainly stay again next time we are in Hexham."
