"Nice clean room. The private balcony had a great view and was really cool in the early morning but it was too hot to use the rest of the day while we were there...temps in the 90's. We love this area and had previously stayed at The Evening Shade a few times and next door at Carters Lodge. We were really sad that one is gone and the other boarded up. We were very happy to see what businesses were open and of coarse the view from the Chimney. If the weather had been a bit cooler our stay would have been perfect. Riverside Lodge is small but a nice stay."

"We loved the location, right between Chimney Rock and so close to Lake Lure! Lovely little cabin for a couple’s getaway! Easy check in process and very cozy and comfortable cabin with all we needed. The host was very accommodating and responsive. The price is reasonable in comparison to other cabins in the area."

"The condo was clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. The view of the mountains and lake from the balconies were wonderful. The only issue we had was trying to get the wifi codes for the television to work so we could watch live shows and sports. Most of these rentals use wifi streaming to reduce the cost for the owners but are not a preferable choice for many renters. With all that being said, we were very pleased with our choice and would rent this unit again in the future."
