"This is a wonderful place to spend a few days. The ryokan is very authentically Japanese. The staff was helpful wherever we needed them. The food Is good, though our best meals were in restaurants in Takayama. Most of all, the hot springs are AWESOME. The water is so thick with minerals, so rich. We didn’t want to leave."

Shared bathroom was OK, no issues with queuing for the shower or toilet. There was a separate toilet for male/female. No outdoor shoes throughout the property, but slippers are provided. "Close to everything, from train station to restos and old town. Worth every pennie, staff are friendly and can speak fluent english. "

"The apartment was close to the main station. Very accessible to the popular tourist spots. We were a family of 10 and the apartment suited us because it was complete of cookware, washer, beddings etc and they even lended us the vacuum cleaner. Junichi-san is very accommodating especially with he changes I had to make for my booking! I will definitely book again!"
