"Great lodging! A very short walk from the train station, and yet very quiet. Smelled fresh, very clean. Our 1 bedroom was terrific. Full kitchen, living space with couch and tall desk table. Bathroom tiny but worked for us…and so clean! Bed was comfy. Front desk person was kind and welcoming. This place was ideal for a one night stay AND would be terrific as a base for several nights while exploring the area. Easy train to Southampton, and also to Bath. Busses that go to Stonehenge. "This property was spotless and well equipped. It is a bit ‘off the beaten track’, but in a lovely location and within walking distance of an excellent village shop. There is another property adjoining this one. The provision of a swimming pool enhanced this property greatly. Although we only met the host, Helen, twice she was most pleasant and helpful. Would certainly recommend this accommodation if one is looking for peace and solitude and yet it is only about 5 miles from Romsey."

"Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. One of the ladies saved the day by getting us a cab to Southampton in time for our cruise. We were going to Uber and found out there are no Ubers in Salisbury. Do not know her name but we are eternally grateful. "
