"Ann and Colin were perfect hosts. So warm and friendly and even left a welcome basket full of thoughtful treats. Flat is so much better than the pictures portray. Spacious and equipped with everything you need for a stay in the area. Highly recommend. Very convenient for all the new forest walks. The grounds are delightful and the garden is stunning. Nice little area to sit and enjoy the sun. Although the flat is joined to the flat we felt we had privacy. Thanks again for a lovely stay....

"Lovely apartment, very spacious, clean and everything you need. Plenty of quality towels and the kitchen has everything. Parking was excellent. A great pub near by and excellent Italian restaurants also. The town is small but has supermarkets nearby in a short walking distance"

"The cottage is more comfortable than I think and safe area,well functioning of kitchen appliances. If you can drive, you should have car because the schedule of public bus is not good."

"My partner and I spent a few days at Carol's beautiful home. She has created such a wonderful place to stay. We particularly loved the effort Carol has put into helping guests get out and explore the stunning local area with even small laminated cards with walking suggestions! "We found Riverside Lodge delightful, inside and out. Very peaceful and a pretty setting, with constant birdsong, visiting ducks, scampering squirrels, wandering deer and an evening flyby from a kingfisher. We went out less than we normally would because it was a treat to be lazy there, especially as we’d splashed out on the hot tub. Beds were very comfortable and full marks for having curtains rather than the blinds 90% of holiday lets have, which do nothing to block out light for people who...

"Cute property, great layout for 2 people, very quiet. It is a bit out of the center of things. Not a big deal in good weather but when pouring rain at night it is a slog. Groceries nearby, super friendly pub next door - but you don’t hear it in the flat. Motion detector lights out front go out very fast and the place could use a bit of refurbishing. But overall a pleasant stay!"

"Our two-day stay in Salisbury was made even better by our stay at this great apartment. A short walk from the train station made access very easy. The apartment was roomy and well appointed and Siobhan our host had provided some thoughtful welcome items in the fridge which were well appreciated. The central location made exploring Salisbury very easy by foot. Highly recommend the apartment for those looking for a comfy location from which to experience Salisbury."

"Nice property, good location. As other reviews stated, it is off the A road but rooms are on the other side so it’s not noisy. Even on the A side road, it still is not noisy. Check in was good, friendly amd efficient. Kitchenware is good. Would stay again."

"Great stay at the flat for 4 days. Perfect size, had everything we needed. Quick walk to many restaurants and coffee shops. Wished it had on-site parking but I know that’s difficult in many towns. Thank you for being so accommodating to our early checkin request. Will use again next time we visit."
