"We stayed here for a week. I first want to say, the staff was AMAZING!! From the front desk to the cleaning crew, everyone went above and beyond with everything. It made us feel welcome and like we were more than just customers. The hotel is next to a mall and within walking distance of another one. I think it was in a great location. I never waited more than 2 mins for an Uber. The downside is that the place could use a sprucing up. A refresh and the building would give a larger hotel a run for its money. The cleaning staff needs to put trash bags in the can. I never understood why she never did, but I will say she was kind, thoughtful, respectful, and didn't mind helping out when asked. If I visited Kenya again, I would stay there"

"Highly recommended! The staff are truly exceptional — absolute professionals who handled every request and issue I had with efficiency, kindness, and genuine care. Special thanks to Bridget and Melvine at the reception for their outstanding support and warm hospitality. I would also like to thank Owen from the restaurant, who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. He did his very best to brighten my day when it wasn’t going particularly well, and his kindness truly lifted my spirits. I would also like to recognize the Housekeeping Supervisor, who handled an issue with my laundry in a highly professional manner. The situation was managed efficiently, thoughtfully, and with great attention to customer satisfaction — exactly the level of service one would expect from a five-star hotel. The food was simply outstanding. Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. You are the real gems of the hospitality industry and a credit to Best Western Upper Hill. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!"

"We notified the hotel we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary but we were put in an appointment with views of building sites and it was very noisy on the weekends from night clubs late into the night! The hotel apologised for this and provided ear buds to block out the nouse!!! The other side of the hotel had great city views and a lot less noise. Ir was a shame ss the actual facilities in the apartment we’re great Staff especially the second st the gate and entrance to the hotel were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was very accommodating too. Would stay again but request a better less noisy view. VIP status not a knowledged at all as hotels.com would expect"
