"This place was very good! The instructions were clear and lots of great recommendations for things to do. My only critiques are that there was a weird smell when we first walked in that only got marginally better over our stay. Also, bring your own blankets because you are only provided a thin sheet and blanket."

Minor cleanliness issues that we easily overlooked for our needs for a nice place to stay while visiting Austin and the surrounding area. Owner was very responsive and covered any questions we had."

"My family (ten of us) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The space was gorgeous, both indoor and out, and the kitchen contained all the dishes, utensils, and staples we needed to cook a few meals. We loved the pool and the hammock and the nearby walking trail, and there was enough space for all of us to get ready at the same time - we attended a wedding in Hudson Bend. My only suggestion is maybe some more towel hooks in the secondary bathroom upstairs, as there were 5 of us...

"We had a family reunion at Haggsville Hacienda (33 adults, teens, and little kids) for the eclipse. The property was perfect for a large group with a large outdoor kitchen area and pavillion where had all our family meals. The area is beautiful with the river and bluff right there. It was a short walk to the river where we spent a lot of time splashing, slipping and floating. "The experience we had for 3 days at this Vrbo was awesome! It is a little off the beaten path in terms of downtown Austin, but the area offers a lot within a short distance. Food and drinks, grocery, catering, etc were all very very manageable. The separation of buildings and sleeping arrangements allows everyone to have space and time as needed! The pool is great and many activities are provided for your use, which we took full advantage off. My few suggestions would be to add more hosting...

"Everything was very clean and was exactly what was represented in pictures and as described. Had a small problem with wifi after a 10-20 second power outage. Owner was quickly responsive and helpful. All in all, a satisfactory experience."

"We rented this place for our family to gather for the eclipse! The kids had a blast in the pool, playing games on the lawn and catching toads after dark! The house manager, Martha made us feel totally welcome and helped us with all of our needs. It rained which made the separate entrances to the bedrooms a bit of a bummer but we survived! All in all it was a perfect place for our family to gather!"
