It’s also perfect for Haarlem, about 5min walk to the city center and the main square with St Bavo’s Church. A laundromat is on the parallel street. The staff are wonderful and the spacious rooms have a unique and glam feel. Extra plugs conveniently placed around the room. Great hotel; it may be old but it wears its age well. (Old in this case doesn't mean dirty or frayed at the edges). Quiet room, very soft comfortable bed. Food in the restaurant, especially dinner was very good with very good steaks available; breakfast was adequate as a little more variety would be nice. Very friendly and attentive staff in the hotel, always a sincerely warm greeting when I passed by the front desk.
