"Nice, well maintained houseboat with everything in good condition. There are lots of windows and skylights so the boat is not dark. The boat has heating for the winter. The host is extremely nice and stored our luggage for us when we arrived at 11am from our flight. Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. "Wir hatten zwei tolle Tage auf dem schönen Hausboot! Es ist wirklich der reine Luxus dort. Wenn man reinkommt, ist es zwar sehr heiß, aber da man alles aufmachen kann, kühlt es auch schnell ab. Der Preis ist allerdings trotzdem sehr hoch. Der Check in ist relativ spät, das Check in Fenster zwischen 16:00 Uhr und 18:00 Uhr. Eher kurz. We arrived on a Thursday and our first night was relaxing. However, party goers from Friday night lead to a 2am awakening to yelling and screaming on Saturday morning. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. "It’s a sufficient place to stay, a good location, and the owner is lovely, but you have to climb up and down stairs that are almost like a ladder to get to your room and there is NO view whatsoever. It’s a barge, not really a houseboat. We are older, and wouldn’t have rented if we had known you couldn’t see out and ladder climbing was involved!"

"The stay was great and breakfast delivered every morning around 0830. We had breakfast in the Wheel house on the top deck. The next floor down was a sitting area with a small refrigerator but no microwave; the same floor gave you access to the toilet and shower. Bottom floor provided a bed, very-very small sink, and a place to hang a few things up. If you’re under 5’8” and barefoot you should not hit your head on the ceiling.
