"There really should be a sixth star available to rate this property. Our family of 5 used it as base for exploring Canterbury and the coastal towns of eastern Kent. Herne Bay is a perfect location for that purpose and I can’t imagine there’s a better place to stay in HB. The house is located in a cul-de-sac right on the sea front in the centre of HB. Its unprepossessing front hides a wonderful property within. The house was beautifully furnished with every amenity that we needed for our stay. In addition to being a lovely place to stay, the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners was unprecedented in our numerous VRBO stays. Martyn was very responsive to our questions and went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He provided very helpful reminders that made things go smoothly.
