"This house was great. Located right next to the palace grounds. Just a walk to some good dining. A grocery store just around the corner. Easy access to bus stops to get around town. I could not possibly pick a better place to stay. "

"The house is conveniently located, close to the JR station and there are a bunch of restaurants within walking distance. There is also a 100-year-old stationery store close by, which we really enjoyed. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and it was very neat to be able to show our kids a more traditional, old-style Japanese house. We were disappointed that there was no tatami, however, as it appears there has been a recent renovation, and more disappointed that the rules asked guests not...

"Very clean hotel and very clean rooms. Beds were a bit hard unfortunately. Super close to shopping and restaurants including Nishiki Market (about 7 min walk). Very quiet street and felt very safe. Staff was very helpful!! Would recommend this hotel! "
