"The check in was easy and the reception staff was helpful and accommodating they even provided a shuttle for us and our luggage to the hotel as it is in a different location. They will even hold your luggage if check in is not ready. Hotel room was nice and clean and a bus stop was right outside. Highly recommend!!! "

"It’s a great little hotel in a very quiet part of Kyoto. If you wish to get away from all the crowds and just experience how the locals live, this is a hotel for you. We had a room with a private onsen bath, which was just perfect at the end of all the sightseeing. Special thanks to the staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel very comfortable. "Quite a unique experience with traditional Japanese furniture and room layout. The owner clearly put a lot of thoughts in building out this hotel by integrating modern appliances into traditional Japanese house architecture. Beautifully decorated garden. Staff were super helpful."

"Great spot to stay at if you are driving all over Kyoto. They have their own parking spots. The place was really spacious and offered free bikes to use around town. They even have a washer and dryer. I’ll definitely come back!"
