We didn't find many hiking opportunities accesible from the property, but plenty to do nearby. The staff was outstanding, very friendly and providing much advice regarding local sites and hiking opportunies. The staff was the highlight of our 2 nights at Holt. The breakfast was excellent and is the only meal offered. For others, Flateryi is a short drive and has 2 options (only one after 5:00 p.m.). But then there is Kaffi Sol, which is on the way to Flateryi. The posted hours are 12-5. But, reservations can be made for evening meals. They are homecooked by Gunna and were delicious and she was wonderful. Dining at Kaffi Sol was a highlight of our stay not only at Holt Inn but of our entire travels in the West Fjords."
