TOOR Hotel Toronto, part of JdV by Hyatt

TOOR Hotel Toronto, part of JdV by Hyatt

8/10 Good
"It was overall a pretty solid experience. That being said, the neighborhood itself is a bit dodgy and the room had a couple of flies. Otherwise clean & the staff was great. The amenities/esthetic were modern."

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Downtown

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Downtown

10/10 Excellent
"The overall service was excellent. This includes the front desk, concierge, baggage assistance, restaurant and cleaning staff. The main onsite restaurant, Hemispheres is terrific and offers a great selection (including a daily breakfast buffet) and outstanding service. There is also a second restaurant called “Lai Wah Heen” on the 2nd floor. This is a Chinese fine dining restaurant that introduced us to dim sum high tea. This hotel is located close to the Eaton Centre (including a market and Canadian Tire) as well as the St. Patrick train station. Keep in mind that this is a Chinese Friendly Hotel (CFH). Something we discovered during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at this excellent hotel and applaud the hotel staff."

"The room and the staff were very good. My only complaint was that WiFi wasn’t complimentary. In this day and age, in a hotel chain like the Sheraton, there is no excuse for charging for WiFi. Even smaller hotels nowadays do not charge"

The Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto

The Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto

10/10 Excellent
"We do not normally stay in such a large hotel as the Westin but I wanted a waterfront view in Toronto. The room we booked was not as described but the staff were really good and swiftly relocated us to an upgraded room. So whilst we were initially disappointed, the way the hotel listened and resolved the issue left us vowing to return. The room was great. Comfortable bed, stunning view and everything recently upgraded. The pool was lovely - a proper size for swimming lengths- and a good gym with sauna and steam rooms. The breakfast buffet was excellent too. Will definitely return. A big shout out for David who provided us with absolutely first class service when we checked in"

From now on, this will definitely be our go-to hotel whenever we visit Toronto. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in an excellent downtown location!"
