We are traveling the Ring Road and stayed one night in Hofn at the Old Airline House. The pictures don’t do this place justice. We had a great stay. Everything was very clean and cozy and the location was within walking distance to so much.

Great stay

Best hotel on the ring road we stayed in all week.

We stay 2 nights at Aurora Cabin. It is located on Highway 1 and it is easy to find. The Cabin is Cosy and have a nice Kitchen with everything we need to cook for a good meal. We met the Property Owner Ivac on 2nd day. He is nice and helpful. He told us where and when to look for Northern Light. We saw Northern Light that night just outside the Cabin. The Cabin is just a few miles from Hofn where we can buy Grocery We will definitely stay at Aurora Cabin again if we come back to Iceland

Great location & helpful owners!

We enjoyed our short stay here. Breakfast and dinner was delicious (only breakfast was free). The rooms were clean, warm, and cozy. Lots of antiques throughout the building. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling south of Iceland.

It is a ideal location to see the northern lights if sky is clean at night and we were luck to see the spectacular aurora that lasted two hours

Super clean and comfortable. Nice and helpful staff. Good location in a cute town.

Great location for the Ring Road experience. Staff was awesome (Anna was our favorite!). Facilities are mostly new and everything was good. Room was a little warm in the morning but I imagine that's an anomaly for Iceland!

This place is great and the owner is so nice. We stayed two nights and the morning we were scheduled to leave a storm came through that knocked out the power and closed all the roads around us. They allowed us to hang out until the roads opened and even found ways to feed us both breakfast and lunch. The hotel itself is in a great location right off the main road and close to the small fishing village of Hofn. Part of the glacier is visable from our room and the food is delicious. Be aware there...

Pros - Very attentive staff. We missed breakfast window, but they provided us with food and coffee. Clean rooms. Parking in front of room. Cons - WiFi was not working.

Great stay ! will come again for sure

Great location, helpful staff, clean room. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel has no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up all them stairs.

Excellent

My first hostel type experience. It was good the people seemed nice, and they were quiet when it was bedtime. Can't complain about anything 😜.
