"Hotel is in a great central location! Close by to Pontocho, Gion and train station. The canal next to the hotel was so beautiful with cherry blossoms and willow trees. Comfy beds and cozy rooms. The breakfast buffet was good also. Note that the hotel's restaurant closes by 3 pm. Would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in kyoto. Quiet, fresh and clean, very comfortable, super convenient (across from bus and train station) and lovely surroundings (didn’t feel like a concrete jungle). Starbucks and convenience store right beside us. Of all the places we visited in Kyoto during our tours we continually agreed that this hotel made for the best home base. "The breakfast was fresh. In particular, brown breads are provided, which is rarely seen in Japan. However, the food is provided in smal amount so that can become unavailable often. Also, orange is the only fruit provided. The room has a good size and everyting is well laid out. Coin operated laundry machines are available. There is a large supermarket across the streen from the hotel, which is very convenient to buy food from. Overall it is a decent and pleasant hotel to stay."

Hotel is clean, has everything you need, shower was really spacious better than other hotels, feels new. Overall on my trip to japan this was the best hotel i stay in. "Room was excellent (although we did notice some slight mould buildup around a vent), central Kyoto easy to get to and nice and close to the staion as well, overall was a great stay. The only downside we found was the breakfast selection in the morning was somewhat limited, but if you are looking to spend a few days in Kyoto this is a great hotel to do it at!"
