Staff goes above and beyond and are personable and friendly, even as English speaking tourists. "Property was amazing. Staff was kind enough to accommodate my request for a private onsen room. Which I should have booked initially but didn't realize was an option. Shuttle bus stop at the front door will take you to various ski resorts in the area. Staff is excellent, helpful, kind. Restaurant is great! Had use of a ski locker as well. Full locker, not just a place to hang skus and poles. "

However, for upwards of $400 per night, the dining options were rather basic and, given the hotel's somewhat remote location, the sporadic shuttle schedule and drop-off locations made the ski resorts somewhat of a challenge to reach."
