"This was surely the best hotel in town when it opened. Showing signs of wear and tear (but so am I!), but still comfortable like an old sofa. The double room was spacious (by any standard, not just Japan), with room for a desk and chairs. Breakfast buffet was very good. Location overlooking the river, could walk to fish market for excellent sushi. "

She provided us with hotel information (e.g. daily breakfast, Onsen, laundry, etc.) clearly. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful with welcoming smiles. We were very impressed with the effectiveness and efficiency of baggage forwarding service provided by the hotel as we needed to send one baggage to a hotel in Tokyo on the day before our checking out from Manten Hotel in Toyama.
