"A Perfect Getaway Our stay at Volcano Village Estates was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Breakfast was a highlight in the morning — the banana pancakes were simply amazing, and the fresh local fruit made it even better. We also enjoyed a bottle of the Volcano Pinot Noir, which was spectacular and paired beautifully with the relaxing ambiance. After a day of exploring the park, the hot tub was pure bliss — clean, private, and the perfect way to unwind under the stars. Every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully designed and perfectly executed. In short: everything was perfect. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise in Volcano. "

"Plenty of space in a quiet location in Volcano. Along with a full shared kitchen, there is a community refrigerator/freezer, which I wasn't sure about based on the online description. Jon, the property manager was always available, but stayed out of the way. Check in/out was easy and the price was reasonable. There is a separate cleaning fee of $80 which you'll need to figure in to your budget."

"This was an amazing place. Even more beautiful in person, both inside as well as the views. So comfortable and relaxing. Our last day, we hiked out to the ocean and on down the lava flows behind the house. It was gorgeous and one of our favorites of all the things we did on our vacation. "

"What can I say, this place was perfect to celebrate an anniversary. It was romantic, very comfortable, clean, relaxing and every detail was thought of. The bed is to die for, comfortable, warm and the center of the treehouse overlooking the rainforest. Slept with windows open to hear the frogs. Owner really did a great job stocking the place with beautiful local art and all the comforts of home. There was a couch and soft lighting beneath the cottage for evening relaxing. She even took extra care with the property planting flowers, bamboo and native Hawaiian plants around the property. We were lucky enough to be only 4 minutes from volcano national park and got to see Kīlauea erupt. Hostess also sent me a whole list of sights, restaurants and stores. Kīlauea lodge was fabulous for dinner highly recommend.We flew into Hilo, but did take a trip to Kona side to swim with the manta rays. Well worth doing and was a trip highlight. Would recommend staying at this cottage for so many reasons but loved no tv, cleanliness, bed comfort, location and exceptional privacy. Wish we could have spent more time at the actual vrbo but will be back and recommend to all our friends!!!Oh and don’t miss the botanical gardens just north of Hilo on scenic route. This was another highlight of trip and not to be missed for anyone that loves plants, flowers or landscaping. Akaka falls and rainbow falls are right near here so see all three as a side trip. "
