The coffee in the bar area in the morning was wonderful! The location was perfect for sightseeing in and around Hilo. We also enjoyed the trees on Banyon Drive."

"The checking staff was extremely inefficient, and unfriendly. The room, especially bathroom is completely outdated. Sink rusty paint coming off. How are we noisy, swimming pool merch. Way overpriced for the quality and service. The location is great though."

"We needed a place near volcano park and this property filled the bill. I really should have read the information provided by the host to understand the self-check in process. (Multiple messages from all our stays overwhelmed me) Once we squared that away, we found dinner and brought it back to the room and settled in. The night sounds in the forest were great. My only suggestion is the steps be lit up for arrivals after dark."

"Pleasant stay. we spent the day at the Volcano Natl Park which is only 7 minutes away. had dinner in town, checked in about 5pm. when you drive onto the property you feel like you are in the middle of the rain forrest. really appreciated the tasty banana bread, snacks, and fruit that was left out. our room had a hot tub, which we didnt use. the matress was comfy. very quiet surrondings."
