"No bottle water in the room, usb connection doesn’t work, desktop phone doesn’t work, thermostat doesn’t work, too cold or shut off. It’s not fitting the Double Tree brand."

"Things that went right: the breakfast was fine. And Keju on the check-in desk was a professional, cheery and very helpful person. Things that aren't right: The rest of the check-in staff was morose and useless. Check-in took much longer than it should The hotel lobby is undergoing massive renovation -- it's ugly and dispiriting. In fact you could say that about the entire hotel: the carpet is blue and brown designed to hide dirt but ultimately just ugly, the hotel rooms are like prison cells as they have zero artwork on the walls, the lobby interior is grey concrete and exposed pipes, and there currently is no bar area. Why the renovation isn't disclosed on the hotels.com website is a mystery as we would haven't booked. The hotel phone in our room wasn't working at all and the TV kept asking how we were doing using some name other than our own. Finally, there was a function in our hotel on the night we arrived that prevented us from parking in the on-site lot we had already paid for -- ultimately, after driving around for ten minutes and finding nothing, we had to find an attendant and use valet parking. All this on top of an ironman competition weekend where the hotel raised its room rates 2-3x above normal -- you can only imagine how ripped off we felt. I have stayed at Marriott Bonvoy hotels in a number of cities and generally felt they were good and fair -- this one falls so far below the standard that Marriott should be ashamed."

"The room was clean and cozy. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the very friendly host and their wonderful puppy Jax! Close to downtown, where I had my conference, and close enough to the beaches that my wife easily navigated her way there and back. Snacks and treats were provided - some healthy for my wife and some tasty for me ;-) - the hostess was very sweet to accommodate both of our tastes!There was a minor concern that it would be noisy (traffic, trains, etc.) when we arrived, but once we were in the room, it was quiet and peaceful.Next time I'm in Jacksonville, I would gladly try to stay here again."

"We had some strange issues with some of the amenities, but the staff took care of it immediately. There was no hairdryer in the room, but then they brought one up. The coffee maker was broken, but they did bring a new one. Otherwise, everything was great. They took care of the issues without any problem."

"The apartment was just as pictured. Very clean and welcoming. The beds were AMAZINGLY soft. The packages for bath and kitchen were helpful. I didn't have to buy my own or use a previously used sponge to wash dishes. I didn't realize the property was a multiplex and arrived late so we spent a good 20 minutes trying to get the code to work on the main door. Even the people who were renting next door was unaware and tried to help us get in. We realized the door was open and it wasn't until we decided to do a walk through that we realized both apartments were upstairs. It's in a great location and despite the noise outside from the other tenants, we never heard anything once we got inside. We were only there for the weekend so a longer stay would have definitely been great in this place."

"Although the place was close to where we needed it was far from cozy the furniture was very uncomfortable the house was like a sauna when got there the air was off and it was over 80 the couch and bed were very hard and super low to the floor. The back yard is a dirt pit not very inviting would not stay again as the last straw was when we came home and the neighbors were playing there music so loud at midnight that made us very uncomfortable."
