"Lovely modern hotel, central location near both main train stations. Great breakfast, lots of choice and porridge and poached eggs on request. Room clean and comfortable. We were there during Grand National week and there wasnt really anything in the hotel to celebrate that. Would stay again at another time though."

"Looks like it was once a grand plush hotel, room dated but large and clean and the bathroom looked recently refurbed, got a triple room for same as a double which turned out to be a bonus as we had seperate bedrooms,close to station and bars, cracking stay for a game at anfield."

The property had everything we needed and the check-in and arrival procedure was clearly explained. The property is a bit away from the city centre, but we knew this at the time of booking and there were different bus options to get to the city centre and plenty of space to park a car if you needed it."
